Jackstay tire straps – for safer sailing
Jackstay tire straps are a type of safety strap used in sailing. The idea of a tire strap is to secure you when you move around the boat. A Jackstay is particularly grateful to be attached to in bad weather or when climbing the rig.
PolyRope’s tire straps have a width of 25mm and are made of 100% UV-resistant black polyester. The breaking load of this safety belt is a whopping 2500kg. This product is delivered in a complete package with a durable, stainless shackle (AISI 316) in one end and a belt friction lock in the other end.
