StormY – Optimal mooring line at the mooring boom
Mooring at mooring booms doesn’t have to be complicated. This mooring line for mooring booms makes it easy and convenient to moor your boat as it is specially developed for mooring at mooring boat booms. With optimised lengths, mooring is very smooth. This also avoids unnecessarily long ropes taking up space in your boat or at the mooring boom.
Easy assembly with thimble and shackle
The StormY is equipped with a thimble at one end, for easy mounting to your mooring boom. Using a shackle, you attach the rope directly to the boom. This takes the stress out of mooring your boat.
The thimble is made of nylon to avoid rusting.
UV-treated polyester for long-lasting use
StormY is made of polyester that is UV treated to withstand years of outdoor use. The rope is durable and keeps its shape well even after several seasons.
Add a mooring compensator below 50 cm rope length.
If the line is shorter than 50 cm between the cleat and the boom, we recommend adding a mooring spring. This is to help the rope to flex in an optimal way. If the rope is longer than 50 cm between the boat and the dock, it will have more room to flex on its own and you won’t need to buy an extra shock absorber.
