Hemp rope made of 100% natural hemp. A three-stranded hemp rope that should not be used outdoors since it can begin to rot after a couple years. Instead we recommend you use a synthetic hemp rope.
Our hemp rope is durable, tough and of high quality. Back in the olden days hemp cordage was used heavily in marine applications as well as for decoration. In later times real natural hemp has begun to be replaced by synthetic hemp ropes, since these tend to last longer outdoors. A real hemp rope has a distinct scent that is difficult to replicate in other synthetic ropes. It is also very nice and comfortable to work with, and sinks in water.
