Our heart beats for sustainable product development, as our Re-Furbished rope leash proves. We have taken used climbing ropes and transformed them into unique dog leashes. No two leashes are the same, but the colour and pattern of the rope is created according to the climbing ropes we receive. This is why each leash is a limited edition.
What about quality?
A climbing rope wears differently in different places. We have selected the finest part of the rope that still maintains high quality without compromising safety. The surface of the rope is slightly fuzzy, which is part of the design, to allow dog owners to experience the past history of the climbing rope. A rope also becomes more ‘fuzzy’ when used for a while. This does not mean that there is something wrong with the leash but that it is part of the design. The parts of the climbing rope that are heavily worn are not used as a dog leash. Each leash is differently ‘fuzzy’ depending on the construction of the rope and the time it has been used.
