Our sheet in the PROline-series from PolyRopes is a best-seller thanks to the different colors and the pre-cut lengths. This sheet is also suitable for boom vang/kicking strap, barber haulers, outhauls or for backstay adjuster systems. PROline is well suitable for passing through several blocks without twisting itself. Sheet/line PROline is made of 100% polyester silk.
At dimensions 6-12 mm (Poly-Braid-24) we use a construction with a coarser casing/sheath which sits better in rope clutches / locking cleats. Stretches circa 2.5% at working strain (20% of breaking strength).
At dimensions 14-20 mm (Poly-Braid-32) we use a construction with a smoother casing/sheath which provides more space for the core material. This makes the line/sheet more rigid and stronger. An important aspect for larger boats. Stretching circa 1.5% at working strain (20% of breaking strength).
