Pre-stretched polyester – Prestretch 3-ply
Pre-stretched and thermofixed polyester line with blue/yellow/red marking thread. The line is 3-strand, which makes it easy to splice.
The line is pre-stretched and thermo-fixed, which means that it stretches minimally; approx. 8% at breaking point. The working elongation is less than 2% (at 20% load). The polyester line has high abrasion resistance and low stretch, making it ideal for halyards and other areas where low stretch is essential.
Melting point approx. 260 degrees Celsius. Specific weight: 1.38 (i.e. sinks in water)
