Hemp rope made of 100% natural hemp. A 3-strand hemp rope that is durable and resilient of high quality. Back in the olden days hemp cordage was used heavily in marine applications as well as for decoration. In later times real natural hemp has begun to be replaced by synthetic hemp ropes, since these tend to last longer outdoors. A real hemp rope has a distinct scent that is difficult to replicate in other synthetic ropes. It is also very nice and comfortable to work with, and sinks in water.
The rope’s areas of use are versatile and cover various purposes. It is suitable for decorations, elevator cables, theater, maritime applications, indoor stair railings, curtain cords, fencing and barricading, decorative lines, handrails, tug-of-war, and even for creating picture hangers.
