Anchor line without weight – a completely normal anchor line

An anchor line without weight is simply a normal anchor line made of rope. There is no difference in safety and durability compared to an anchor line with weight, but it does not help you get a better grip on the bottom. A regular anchor line is a good alternative for smaller boats or if your anchor is already heavy and you never have problems with the grip. If you have problems getting a good grip on the bottom, we recommend an anchor line with chain.
