Rock wedges and sledgehammer – complete rock wedge set

The rock wedge is used when mooring the boat in a natural harbour where the rock wedge is driven into a suitable notch in the rock or stone slab. The PolyRopes rock wedge set includes two types of rock wedges; a straight rock wedge and an angled rock wedge. The package also includes a sledgehammer. All parts are hot-dip galvanised (HDG).

At the end of the rock wedge there is a metal ring to attach the mooring line.

Tip: when mooring in natural harbours where there are often coniferous trees, we recommend a three-strand line such as STORM. In braided mooring lines, needles are more likely to get caught in your hands when you cast off.
