Halyard with Dyneema®/HMPE mix at pre-determined length with sewn in Wichard® shackle
Halyard Racing Four from our own brand PolyRopes at pre-cut length. This halyard is often used within Regatta and Racing as it is rigid and light-weight. Line delivered with sewn in Wichard shackle, where instead of a traditional splice we use our patented IQ-line-seam that is just as durable. We’ve even prepared a mousing/messenger hole at one end where you can easily attach your mousing/messenger line when exchanging the halyard.
Halyard with casing made of durable and high-grade polyester
Racing Four has a 24-braided casing av high-grade durable polyester (HT). Casing is somewhat coarser than our other extreme halyard ProRace One in order to withstand major wear-and-tear and to provide better grip. ProRace One is for you who wants the most extreme. The ProRace One is an even more powerful halyard, specifically developed for Ocean Race-type events.
Core made of rigid HMPE-hybrid
Halyard has a 12-braided rigid core of 100% pre-stretched Dyneema® SK78 which has been optimized with high durability PP multi. Thanks to this you are provided with a line that keeps its shape. The optimized blend of Dyneema® SK78 and PP makes Racing Four extremely rigid with a work strain lower than 0,8%. Core is also polyurethane-coated which means you can strip the line and can thus if you wish to save even more on weight.
