Fallina PROline – A silent halyard at a fraction of the price!
The Proline halyard is a great value halyard with a core and cover made entirely of polyester silk. The advantage over a dyneema halyard is mainly the price. Here you get a silent halyard at a fraction of the price. But the function is the same!
The little extra stretch you get with a polyester halyard is virtually non-existent, unless you intend to race. For us cruising sailors, the extra stretch of the polyester halyard is not noticeable. Except in your wallet.
The rope we use is called Poly-Braid-32, a well-proven and classic rope with a 32-braided sheath. The rigidity is created by choosing a solid core instead of a braided one. This gives you a soft and silent halyard that is comfortable to hold.
The Proline halyard comes in a variety of colours, dimensions and lengths. All halyards are delivered in pre-cut lengths with a sewn-in Wichard shackel.
