Advanced halyard with HMPE-core
Halyard ProRace Four from our own brand PolyRopes is a more advanced line, often used in regatta and racing thanks to its low weight and rigidity. Most use this line as a halyard, but it can also be used as sheet.
This line has a 24-braided casing of high quality polyester (HT). The casing is somewhat coarser than other halyards in the same category ProRace One so to better withstand wear-and-tear and provide better hold.
Line with core of rigid HMPE-hybrid
Halyard Prorace Four has a 12-braided rigid core of 100% pre-stretched Dyneema® SK78 that has been optimized with high strength PP multi. Thanks to this core you get a line which keeps its shape even when passing through the pulley. The optimized mix of Dyneema® SK78 and PP makes ProRace Four extremely rigid, meaning you won’t need to hoist and tighten the line as often. The core is also polyurethane-coated, which allows for you to strip the line and therefore save on weight.
